Door-to-door sales or sales from a vehicle are regulated by the Village (Village Law 2-1987).   A permit from the Village Clerk is required. Contact the Clerk's Office at (315) 689-7350 for more information. 

Please be sure to have your trash ready to be picked up before 6 am on Friday mornings.   Visit the DPW Page for information regarding trash collection schedule.   

GARBAGE STICKERS ($2 each) are available for purchase at the Village of Jordan office Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or at TOPS Markets in Elbridge at their customer service office from 8 am to 8 pm.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that I, the undersigned Village Treasurer of the Village of Jordan, County of Onondaga, State of New York, have received the tax roll and the warrant for the collection of the Village taxes therein levied for the year 2025, and that I will receive such taxes at my office, 7 Mechanic St, Jordan, New York, from June 1, 2025, through July 1, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, except Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, without additional charge.

On all such taxes remaining unpaid after July 2nd, five percent will be added for the month of July, and an additional one percent on the first of each month thereafter, until paid. A charge of $1.00 will be added on August 16th, if it is necessary to send a second notice.

The warrant for the collection of the Village taxes shall expire on the 31st day of October 2025, and thereafter transmitted to Onondaga County for collection.

The Jordan-Elbridge Food Pantry has moved to the Methodist Church.  Donations may be dropped off behind the church at the red door.  If you have questions, please call (315) 689-6240 x115.

SHAPE-UP is a home repair program administered by Onondaga County Community Development. Eligible homeowners can apply for help to cover the costs of necessary home repairs.
