The Village of Jordan, NY is pleased to announce the launch of TextMyGov, a simple communication tool that allows residents to receive important updates and access information anywhere using texting technology. This new government SMS service makes it easier than ever for the community to stay informed through a reliable

text message from government officials.

The Village will officially launch this mass text notification system on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. 

Please be sure to have your trash ready to be picked up before 6 am on Friday mornings.   Visit the DPW Page for information regarding trash collection schedule.   

GARBAGE STICKERS ($2 each) are available for purchase at the Village of Jordan office Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or at TOPS Markets in Elbridge at their customer service office from 8 am to 8 pm.

NOW AVAILABLE AT Jordan Bramley Library. Monday - Thursday 10 am - 6 pm.  Friday 10 am - 4 pm and Saturday 10 am to 12 noon.   Closed on Sunday.  $2 per sticker

Door-to-door sales or sales from a vehicle are regulated by the Village (Village Law 2-1987).   A permit from the Village Clerk is required. Contact the Clerk's Office at (315) 689-7350 for more information. 

The Jordan-Elbridge Food Pantry has moved to the Methodist Church.  Donations may be dropped off behind the church at the red door.  If you have questions, please call (315) 689-6240 x115.

WHAT IS THE SHAPE-UP PROGRAM?
SHAPE-UP is a home repair program administered by Onondaga County Community Development. Eligible homeowners can apply for help to cover the costs of necessary home repairs.

SAFE MEDICATION DISPOSAL - The Village Office now has a safe disposal box for all outdated and unused medications. No needles or liquids are accepted.  These medications can be  dropped off during regular business hours.
